Climate Control

When you are driving, you can tell your car exactly what temperature you want it to be inside and it does the rest. It looks after heating, ventilation and air conditioning. Why isn't it the same at home?

Most people are not interested in setting how long the heating should be on for, or at what level it is. They just want to be warm. Likewise in summer, they want air conditioning and ventilation to cool them down. Intelligent solutions for your home allow this to happen without any fuss.

Climate control can serve a number of functions:Temperature Control

  • It allows you to set how warm the house should be at different times of the day - many people like it to be slightly cooler while they are asleep but cosy and warm when they have to get up.

  • When you are on holiday in the winter, the heating needs to be on just enough to stop pipes from freezing. It should not be on full as that would waste energy. However, the house should be the right temperature when you arrive home.

  • Some rooms should be warmer than others - if, for example, elderly relatives come to stay, they may want their bedroom to be warmer than the rest of the house.

  • You may prefer to rely on natural ventilation in the summer, but have air conditioning activated when it gets too hot. This can be done automatically and using energy saving profiles.

Whatever your requirements for heating, ventilation or air conditioning, an intelligent house makes it simple. You can control the system from handy wall panels in each room, or remotely over the web. It gives you the ultimate state of control over the temperature of your home.
